How this looks in your firm.
The four problems are shared. What they look like in a law practice is not what they look like in a hotel group.
01Legal
Confidentiality becomes a reason to say nothing.
Practice-area detail often loads only when someone clicks a tab. Case studies sit in PDFs. Partners treat confidentiality as a reason to publish nothing, when the usual block is how the site is built.
02Accounting and finance
Directories get cited, not the firm.
When a buyer asks an AI assistant for an accountant, the answer is usually a listing site. Partners then ask what they can defend before they ask what the tools can do.
03Medical and scientific
Caution buries the specialism.
The work is precise. The website is not. Claims get so hedged that an AI assistant has nothing to quote, and patient data sits in the way of every tool conversation.
04Travel and hospitality
Booking sites take the search results.
Large booking sites dominate search. The operator that can be quoted in an answer still wins the recommendation. Measurement is usually split across the property, search, and AI demand nobody is counting.
